"All My Children" has been a part of my life since it's inception. When
it first debuted, I was 14 years old. I feel like we all matured and grew up
together. Being so faithful to them all these years, basically I consider them
like my second family. I never miss an episode. I look forward to the "Fan
Party" in August at the Mariott and welcome the chance of meeting all the
actors who can make it that day!

I am not looking forward to Erica playing around with Sam "Wooden" Woods and
for more than one reason.
First off, MVP hasn't a lick of chemistry with LaLucci.
Secondly, Erica and Jack are head over heels in love still but the
writers continually make them act like 17 year olds who can't express their
feelings for one another even though they have had a 21 year love story. I'd
rather watch a story of two adults with this type of history, actually try to
work things out whether through therapy or on their own. There is no
excitement for me in another tryst for Erica with a man she has no feelings
for. Jeff Martin was bad enough. AMC execs really need to get their acts
together and treat the last of AMC's true Supercouples, and their fans, with
more care, respect, and reality.

I have been wacthing
All my children from day one. I did stop wacthing after they killed Dixie off.
Started wacthing when they brought back Angie and Jessie.
But I was so happy to get to see Dixie again. Dixie and Tad have always been my
favs. I do hope you will bring her back , We know it can be done. So lets do
it!!! WE WANT DIXIE ! WE WANT DIXIE ! Cady McClain you ROCK !! hope to see
more of you. All my children should be so lucky to get you back ! she is such a
talented wonderful actress. I was so sad to see Sydney penny killed off.
Her and Noah was also a wonderful couple. I would have liked to have seen her in
another beautiful love story !! i hope Amc can get back to the good old days of
all the great stories they use to have.
Thank you , Betty Reno NV
Ms. Dickson:
I'm
sure your well aware of the elevated ratings AMC received during Angie &
Jesse's wedding and Tad and Dixie's "What if scenario". The ratings would
have been even higher if Dixie was alive. Doesn't this mean anything to ABC
and AMC? Cady's return as Dixie did make a difference. I certainly hope
TPTB will do the right thing and bring Cady back to the show permanently,
alive as Dixie. Her return brought back the Tad and Dixie fans/viewers,
including myself. Unfortunately for me, the reunion between Tad and Kate
was flat as a pancake. This was suppose to be the moment we have all been
waiting for! The reveal was not even close to joyous. It was meaningless,
simply because Dixie's presence was missing. Dixie stayed away from her
true love and family for 4 years searching for Kate and no thanks to TPTB,
didn't live long enough for this moment. After all the haunting of
Adam, even her ghost was no where to be seen for the payoff. The story was
truly forced because TPTB decided they wanted to bring closure to the
Kate/Kathy s/l. Is this some sort of consolation prize for all the wrong
doings done to Tad and Dixie fans, Cady McClain and the beloved
character, Dixie? Because it certainly does not bring closure or make up
for the happy ending we were all robbed of. As far as I am concerned, there
will never be closure for this s/l until Dixie is reunited with Tad and Kate
alive, the way it should have been in the first place. I read that Cady
McClain's last air date is June 12, 2008. As a big Tad and Dixie fan, I
will bid farewell to watching AMC once again on that date as well. Seems
like Deja vu. Oh well enjoyed the brief ride while it lasted.

Hello. I have watched "AMC" from time to time and enjoyed it but am not really
a member of the fan community. I am, however, working on a project concerned
with "Gilligan's Island" and I have seen a segment where Greenlee, I believe,
dreams she is Maryann on Gilligan's Island. What I am interested in is her
relationship with each of the characters who play Gilligan and the Professor,
respectively, in that segment. The Gilligan character claims he knows alot
about hammocks--which AMC character is that, what is his relation to Greenlee
and what is he like, in general. Same with the "Professor" character. Can you
or another "AMC" fan help me with this info, please? I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you and continue enjoying "AMC."
AMC has out done themselves. Last week
was one of the best episodes I have seen in a long time. A lot of excitement
- I love it. Jesse jumping to catch the helicopter, people getting shot,
hearts being broken - all at the same time. I hate Julia is gone, but please
don't write Tad off.
Thank you,
Becky
I spent most of
today's show, standing up and screaming at the TV. Agreed, the writers can
and do do whatever they want, but under no circumstances can they MESS WITH MY
TAD!!!!!!! Was it not enough that Julia was shot? Greg? Almost JR & Babe?
BUT DID THEY HAVE TO SHOOT TAD!!!!!!!!!!! I will not be well waiting to find
out what until Monday the status of my TAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, if anyone
knows ANYTHING, now would be a good time to spill before I completely
MELTDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It has been
brought to my understanding that David Rasche is leaving the show. Firstly, I
would like to say if he doesn't come back, that would be an awful mistake!! I
thought Rasche's role of "Robert Gardener" was absolutely magnificent! I don't
know what AMC's intentions are for keeping "Rob's" character alive/around, but
it would be great if Rasche can play the role permanently! I felt he (Rasche)
was an excellent "Rob Gardener"! Thanks.

fan club:
Where is Josh? I love everyone on
the show, but we see too much of Kendall, Zach, Ryan. Give the others a
chance. Instead of Ryan loosing his memory, it should have been Josh. That
way he could have fallen in love with Babe all over again. Babe would of had
3 men after her. With Ryan being shot in the head, he could of started having
symptoms like his brother. Interesting, huh! Bring Josh back and give him a
life. After all, it is Erica's son. He needs to have excitement in his life,
whether it is a love affair, new job, accident or something.

What a waste of talent!
Surely the writers can do better with the character of Richie than the
ridiculous story lines he's been getting. Killing him off just adds insult
to injury. I've watched AMC off & on for 30 years & it seems they just
discard people randomly. Seems like when you get an actor as good as Billy,
you should do whatever it takes to keep him. Maybe since the writers have
decided to kill him off for whatever ratings they are chasing (short term) the
ABC casting people can find him something on prime time so they don't loose
him.
Grey's Anatomy maybe?

I'm trying to find the
name of the song and artist playing on the April 8th episode during Jesse and
Angie's honeymoon scene. My address is

I have
been watching since 1998. I was inquiring about some help to find exact airdate
of episodes in 1994 and was told to ask a fan club. Maybe someone is writting
their own recaps. I was wondering if you knew the exact date they aired Gloria
going into premature labor and giving birth to Anna Claire. I know it was in
1994. I have been looking for websites with episode recaps but nothing for 1994.
If you know somebody that is writing recaps of the shows for 1994 please let me
know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you,
Holly :)
To Whom it may concern,
Please bring
Cady McClain back as a living character and not a ghost. We all know folks
never really die in the Soap world.
Josh Madden and
folks could be keeping her alive like he did Babe in an effort to save her.
She could be in a coma and her spirit leave her body until Tad finds her. Too
many fans were cheated along with the characters we have loved for so long,
Death by Pancakes was not the ending these lovers so richly deserved.
Thank you so
much, I will once again watch after May 2nd, I hope she ( Dixie) will be in
the flesh.
Sincerly a long time fan and
watcher,
Tina Howard
THANK YOU! Yes I will stop
watching Y and R now and return to AMC BUT Bring Cady back
PERMANENTLY!!!!! I'm 58 and had watched the show from its beginning but
drifted away when you let Cady go. Linda
I have been hoping for over a year that "All My Children" would fix the
enormous mistake made when Dixie ate those fatal pancakes in the midst of her
long anticipated story. I felt cheated again to see that the idea of a fix is
Ghost Dixie. I don't believe in ghosts so I find back from the dead more
realistic and this would provide the fans with what they truly want to see:
the long-awaited reunion of Tad, Dixie and their daughter Kate ... and all
still breathing! Tad and Dixie have been a much loved super-couple for two
decades and their long suffering fans merit more than just a limited ghostly
appearance; they deserve the real living and breathing thing!

Hi,
I want DIXIE MARTIN (Cady McClain) back on AMC for good, and not as a ghost.
The show is never as good as it is when she is on it. Please bring her
back!
Stacy
Thanks everyone
for bringing back Cady/Dixie. I will settle for a “spirit” for now. There is
chemistry between MEK and Cady and there is no doubt about that!
I didn’t stop watching AMC but I have to say that I did so
hoping for a glimmer of hope to bring back Dixie. I also watched it because
Cady asked fans to continue to watch it.
Please have Dixie come back as a live character. We fans
don’t really care how it’s done. Thanks.
I am
not under 35 but a huge fan since the 1970’s.

Just a quick email to tell you how happy I am that Cady McClain will be
appearing on All My Children again in the near future. However, I feel much
disappointment hearing that she is to be a spirit of sorts. I think the show
could do better. It needs to do better.
I really don't have much time to watch soap operas anymore. If you choose to
bring Cady McClain on to play Dixie Martin as a regular, I will *make time* to
watch. I will watch the show beginning May 2nd because I am curious about what
you plan to do with Dixie and Tad. However, I strongly urge you to consider
AMC fan loyalty and Tad & Dixie fan voices regarding bringing Cady McClain back
to AMC as an alive and vibrant character on the show.
Thanks for your time and attention!
Kim Golding, Tacoma
I have watched AMC since the beginning. Please bring
back Dixie permanently. From the message boards we have figured out a
storyline that could work. Have her come back as a ghost like Jesse did,
however tie Tad's uncle into this where she was made to appear as a ghost.
Somehow he was behind her not really being a ghost as Jesse wasn't and Dixie
will become a live person as Jesse did. Dixie is then reunited with Kate and
Tad. This is really what all the fans want from the message boards. We all
love Cady and so want her back live not just as a ghost. Please consider our
request. Your brought back Jesse and Angie. Now bring back our Dixie!!!
Folks,
Please, no more ghosts
appearing to guide a character, That's been so overdone as to be terminally
boring, to say nothing about totally unbelievable. If you're going to bring
Dixie back (Cady McClain, not some recast substitute), bring her back alive -
please. AMC hasn't been the same since she got booted..
On another subject, if
you really want to throw a monkey wrench into the Erica, Jack, Sam story,
consider bringing Dimitri back. It doesn't have to be Michael Nader, just
some other ultra suave actor. The fans would eat that up.
Jack Moss
To whom it may concern:
I am a 34 year
old (dedicated) fan to AMC. I have been watching since birth and have
remained with AMC, even through the 'not-so-good' times.
I was so disappointed when TPTB chose to remove Dixie Cooney (Cady McClain)
from the story. I still can not understand the reasoning, however I'm hoping
that the writers can now see the error of their ways and bring Cady back
(alive) to AMC.
The storyline of Tad and Dixie was such a refreshing part of
AMC. Even through the good and bad times, the chemistry of Michael E Knight
and Cady McClain never wavered. They both bring such a dynamic to the show
and complement each other's acting style so well. AMC needs to bring this
wonderful 'Super' couple back together. Dixie (only Cady McClain) needs to be
brought back, not as an angel.
With the
return of Jessie and Angie Hubbard to AMC, the shows have just been
pristine--back to what we (long time viewers of AMC) remember from earlier
years. The only thing missing is Dixie Cooney Martin. There is just still
something lacking that only Cady McClain can bring to the show. She, much
like Michael E Knight, adds such a dynamic to every scene. She brings such
unity and charisma to the show. She is definitely a class-act that AMC should
not have let go of.
AMC needs Cady
McClain back and we, the viewers, want AMC back to the quality that we expect
from our favorite show. Having Dixie return as a ghost to unite Tad and Kathy
is just not good enough... AMC viewers deserve better!!!!
Thank you for your time,
Amie Sonnier

Cady McClain needs to return to AMC as the real LIVE Dixie. We want her on a
permanent basis, not as a ghost. I have grown up watching AMC. Ghost Dixie
will NEVER be acceptable. Tad and /Dixie belong Alive and well. They should be
the heart of the Martin family. Together Forever is Tad and Dixie.
I am a 22 year old
female viewer of AMC. Many casting decisions in the last few years have made me
second guess my loyalty to the show. The storylines used to be so good, I
wouldn't go to bed without watching that day's episode. Currently, I have a
whole week's worth of episodes on my DVR because there is nothing that I need to
see so badly that makes me take the time to watch them.
One thing that would resume the "MUST SEE" mentality would be
bringing Cady McLain back as Dixie for good. Not as an angel, not a short term
thing... for the long haul. You've gotten rid of fan favorites.. her, Brooke,
Edmund, Maria... and ratings haven't been good ever since.
Obviously you know about the fan campaigns going on... listen
to your viewers and what we want to see!
-Andrea Zito, Illinois
Please bring back Cady
McClain. Bring Dixie back alive and not as a ghost. The show desperately needs
her. She is one hell of an actress and has been sorely missed! Thanks for
listening!
Just wanted to let
you know how much I have been enjoying the recent Ryan amnesia s/l on ABC`s AMC
From the second Ryan clasped Kendall to him as if she was his
rock in a sea of confusion , Rendall have reeled me right back in again .
Their chemistry is still as incandescent as ever . Love the
writers` angle that Ryan`s love for Kendall was so strong that every other
romantic encounter or relationship was blotted out by his mind.
I am so enjoying seeing him pine for her , given their
relationship history . I can see that the character is enjoying it too. Hope
this ends with Ryan and Kendall finally being allowed to bring up their son
together in the same home .
I notice that many others also are being reminded of how
wonderful Ryan and Kendall were together . Their fans have been waiting ,
hoping for 4 long years and are still behind the pairing 100%.

To Whomever it concerns:
Ok, NOW is the best time to bring back DIXIE on All My Children!
How perfect would it be for Rob Gardner to be the one who faked Dixie's death
and has kept her in a drugged state all this time? I really need to see the
story I waited 2 DECADES for, which is for Tad and Dixie to have their baby
girl together! I've already been cheated on getting that baby, but their 6
year old daughter Kate is still out there! I was disgusted and devastated
by Dixie's disgusting death over a year ago. A death that didn't need to
happen and nothing ever came of the story AT ALL. I was so disgusted that I
turned off AMC the day Dixie died on Black Tuesday, January 30, 2007. I have
not watched since then, and I've watched since the mid 70s. But if an ALIVE
Dixie were to return, only in the person of Cady McClain, I would most
definitely have AMC back on my DVR. PLEASE make this happen, and give me the
story I, and a lot of fans, have longed for! Tad needs his Dixie. Without
her, he seems a shell of his former self!

I can say
that I blame a guy for wanting to get back together with AMC's Kendall
Hart-Slater. She's a beautiful, smart, sexy, and loveable woman, but stalking
her crosses the line. Who follows a happily married woman and then tricks a
hotel employee into giving you her room number? Zach and Kendall don't need this
kind of "friend" or "family member". What they need is a restraining order! Zach
and Kendall belong together and it's time the "elevator four" and the shows
writers left them alone to work out their own problems.

I just had to write to say how wonderful the CD, ABC Love Affair, is! I knew
these stars had acting talent and now to add to that their awesome singing
voices and all I can say is wow!!! They are just so amazing !! Too bad they
don't incorporate more of their singing talent in the show. Hopefully, more of
these CD's will be out in the future! Patty Gordon
Hi, I am a 28 year old female that has been watching All My Children off
and on since my mother got me into it about 15 years ago. My breaks have
coincided with the absence of the actress, Cady McClain, who portrayed Dixie.
I actually started watching As The World Turns to watch my favorite daytime
actress when "Dixie died", and have found that show to be more
interesting than AMC most of the time. Because there is only enough time in
the day to watch one soap (my husband makes sure of this), ATWT has been
winning my patronage. However, now that I have seen that they have ended Cady
McClain's story line on their show, I am writing to you in hopes that you can
influence the powers that be to reinstate Cady McClain's role on All My
Children. At a time where AMC is trying to bring back some of the ole crew,
it would be a huge success to the show to bring Ms. McClain back as Dixie.
Please don't make AMC fans settle for "Tad and Krystal", AMC fans can only be
satisfied with "Tad and Dixie".
Thank you for your consideration,

ALL MY CHILDREN WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM BRINGING BACK DIXIE
IF THE WRITERS WOULD USE THE SAME STRATEGY THAT DALLAS HAD USED 20 YEARS AGO
WHEN THEY BROUGHT BOBBY BACK FROM THE DEAD.
IT WAS BEAUTIFUL WHEN PAM EWING WAS IN THE BATHROOM,
TURNED AROUND AND LOOKED AT BOBBY IN THE SHOWER AND CONFESSED THAT SHE HAD A
STRANGE DREAM. AS SHE TOLD BOBBY ABOUT THE DIFFERENT THINGS GOING ON IN HER
DREAM, SHE SPOKE ON THE DIFFERENT TOPICS OF THE SEASON’S PAST THAT DID NOT
INCLUDE BOBBY.
ALL MY CHILDREN CAN DO THE SAME THING BY MAKING TAD HAVE A
‘DREAM’.
THAT WOULD BE SO COOL, OTHERWISE, TAD IS KIND OF USELESS
WITHOUT DIXIE. TAD AND DIXIE AS A SUPER COUPLE WAS MAGIC.
To whom it may
concern,
If your
intention is to decimate Zach and Kendall for whatever reason after 8 months
of pure hell, I have to tell you how disappointed and bitter I unfortunately
am over All My Children. Zach and Kendall are the reason I start watching All
My Children again but lately, I feel this magical couple has been taken away
from me for some obscure reason.
I’m 23 years
old and I study full-time for a master-in-law. I lead a busy life and I look
forward to a moment of a day where I can rest and relax and just let go of
reality. This moment used to be watching All My Children and especially
Alicia Minshew and Thorsten Kaye’s amazing portrayal of Zach and Kendall.
They have such a fun, sexy, sparkly connection that I can’t help but be drawn
to them in spite of myself. Unfortunately, it seems All My Children does not
like that super couple in the making and is trying everything they can to
annihilate them.
I watch soaps
to be entertained. I understand that not everything can be sunshine and roses
but there hasn’t been any happiness on this show for months now. I was hoping
that Kendall’s book would be a cute story between Zach and her but sadly, I’m
seeing I will be mistaken here. I was looking forward to Zach opening up to
Kendall and Kendall rescuing him again from her demons and I was cheated out
of it. I was hoping for a happy reunion between Zach and Kendall but that was
anti-climatic because of an out-of-character behavior from Kendall and a
secret that should have been resolved weeks ago. I’m cheated out of mile
stones with Zach and Kendall for some unexplained reason and I’m just supposed
to go along with it because it’s a soap? I’m sorry but after months of doom
and gloom, I just won’t “go along with it” because I don’t think there will
ever be sunshine for Zach and Kendall. For the record, Zach and Kendall are
IT for each other. There will never be anyone else for them in my heart.
We could have
had Erica and Adam becoming involved and see a quad with Kendall and Zach. We
could have had Josh and Amanda being set up by Zach and Kendall as a romantic
couple. We could have seen Zach helping Kendall with her book or Kendall
helping Zach with her demons. We could have had them acting as partners as
they investigated who ran over Zach. And yet, just more misery with
one-dimensional characters playing heroes and Zach and Kendall being regressed
endlessly.
I’m tired, sad
and disappointed. I’m sorry I care so much about All My Children because it
would hurt less not to see it decimated day after painful day.
Sincerely,
M.E.
I just finished watching the scenes
with Jack and Erica locked in the closet and I am once again bowled over by
the sizzling chemistry between Walt Willey and Susan Lucci. How AMC can
continually keep them apart or attempt to pair them with other people is
beyond me. These two characters have such a deep and rich history together and
they are as hot together today as they were 20 years ago when they were first
paired. They need to reunite, remarry, and be established as the core couple
and family of Pine Valley.

Dear Carol,
I am a loyal AMC fan who has been watching this show for years. I
have cut back because they want to keep my favorite couple, Jack and Erica,
apart. I don't like watching the show when they are not together and I know I
am not alone. We have waited so long for these two to get together. All we
want is for them to be happy together. Is that too much to ask? They have
great chemistry and their scenes together and priceless. I know this is just
the fan club but if you can get this information to the writers on the show I
and everyone would appreciate it. I would hate to stop watching show. The fans
are what makes the show so give us what we want and put one of the best
couples in daytime back together. JACK AND ERICA FOREVER. They cannot not live
without each others hearts.
